Seattle's Oldest Saloon Est.
1892
As hands-on owner of The Central, I spend a lot
of time here.
Among all of us that work here, we eat many meals, listen
to and hire some of the best bands around, and have a lot of conversation
with regulars and new customers alike. We wouldn't have it any other
way. Our staff and regular customers know they can make suggestions
anytime to myself and other employees and expect consideration and
action. Staff and customer input helps us avoid problems and make
needed adjustments. Also, we get a great recipe from time to time!
Over many years we have collectively been in this business,
we have come to the same conclusions and founded our working relationship
accordingly. We think our customers should be treated as we want to
be when visiting another establishment. A good friendly attitude and
attentive service, with prices and servings structured to give you
great value for hard-earned money. Any time you visit us we want things
right for you: our new and old customer. We firmly believe that "word
of mouth" is the best advertisement of all.
—Thank you, Guy Curtis, Saloon Keeper |
