Do you like music? Do you like sexy hooks? The 2018 Hookcore tour is coming to a city near you. Featuring "Digisaurus" and "The Sometimes Island," this pop match-up made in heaven will keep you grinding all night long.

Digisaurus is the electronic synthpop/rock moniker of artist and producer, James Allison. With a sound somewhere between the lines of Chromeo, Daft Punk, and Nine Inch Nails, Digisaurus produced his first EP, “No More Room For Love,” with Michael Landolt (Maroon 5, Michael Franti) which included breakthrough single “Without Me” (currently at over 300,000 streams) in 2015. Following appearances at CMJ and CD102.5’s Summerfest with Joywave and Bully, Digisaurus had to plan the next phase of his musical evolution. Digi wanted to improve as a performer and found inspiration in the story of the Beatles humble beginnings in Hamburg (in which they played five hour gigs, seven nights a week, for two years). So he quit his job, bought a van, and hit the road.

Digisaurus has played over 400 shows in the past two years at dive bars, houses, coffee shops, breweries, wineries...wherever would have him to hone his skills as a performer. His progress has been reciprocated in 2018 with club gigs and festival appearances alongside acts like tuneYards, Parquet Courts, Joywave, and Japanese Breakfast. On top of new singles released in 2018, Digisaurus is currently recording his debut LP to be released in 2019.

The Sometimes Island is vocalist and producer Matt Blankenship Jr. The project formed in 2016, and recorded and released Bad People EP in 2017. Known for an energetic live show, the dreamy, beat-driven synth pop sound is perfect for fans of Daft Punk, Lauv and Fleet Foxes. Fresh off a west coast tour, The Sometimes Island emerges from the studio with a series of new singles to be released monthly beginning in 2019.
