rowing up in Seattle during the 90's has lent Dogstrum their sound which has been lovingly described as "grump-punk" by Seattle's alternative weekly newspaper "The Stranger."

Dogstrum’s first EP, cleverly titled Murtsgod, was released in the summer of 2016. Shortly after the release, Dogstrum was featured on the local radio station KISW 99.9 “The Rock” as the Loud and Local band of the week.

When four of Seattle’s top musicians decided to team up; the result was the new band: Glenn Cannon and the Damage Done. Glenn Cannon (of Windowpane & Bruiser Brody ~ Guitar, Vocals), Lance McKay (of Surreal Sutra, Dave Brock’s Doors Experience, Epic Queen, Black Ant Army, Dire Fire ~ Keys), Jeff Eason (of Casualty of God, Larry Mitchell, The Flood, Scream Radio, Lifelike Feel ~ Bass) & Lui Williams (of Out From Underneath, Larry Mitchell, Late September Dogs ~ Drums) wasted no time. They entered the studio with Glenn’s long time friend, producer and musical co-conspirator Brett Eliason to track what became “Devil in the Sunshine”. The album dropped in July of 2019 and immediately captured the hearts of the Seattle music scene. Via the four players popularity from previous projects and deep roots in the Seattle music community a built in and rabid fan base was anxiously awaiting their debut. The group’s album release party at Seattle’s legendary Crocodile was a standing room only affair. KISW 99.9FM Seattle’s Premier Rock Station featured the band’s new material on air and went on to showcase the group at ‘KISW Live Day’ the station’s award-winning yearly broadcast event which averages 600,000 plus listeners.
