YES Music Productions presents a dark night of post-punk and darkwave music featuring -
Male Tears (LA darkwave/dark-electro)
Established in 2020, Male Tears is the dark-electro pop duo founded by James Edward and later joined by Frank Shark the following year. The band released a debut album and a follow-up record in 2021 that exhibited new-wave, goth and italo influences through a DIY bedroompop filter. Their primary inspirations include Soft Cell, Virgin Prunes, Depeche Mode, Dead or Alive and VNV Nation.
The Final Sound (NYC post-punk)
A chance meeting of 2 brothers and one stranger resulted in the creation of the experimental Post-Punk band The Final Sound. They are truly a classic Post-Punk band, infusing modern and Retro 80's vibes . The band released the critically acclaimed album "DIMENSIONS" in 2020 followed by "AUTOMATA THEORY" in 2021.Their most recent shows include The Bowery Electric in NYC, HQ in Denver, Dark Spring Boston Festival in Boston, Red Party in NYC, Prohibition River in Nyack. The Final Sound is: Diego Vilche vocals and bass, Pablo Zauzich drums and Gonzalo Zauzich guitars and synths.
STAHV (Seattle synth/doom-metal/post-punk)
In 2017, Seattle-based artist STAHV (Solomon Arye Rosenschein) emerged as a shape-shifting one-person instrumental act. KEXP described STAHV as combining "elements of heavy psych-rock, doom metal, post-rock, noise-rock, and more." That sound continues to evolve with Simple Mercies, a collection of vocal-driven goth rock bangers drawing on Rosenschein's love of '80s aesthetics, synth-pop, and new wave.
