***SAM COBRA***

"Sam Cobra is a spacious force to be reckoned with in the world of contemporary psychedelic rock. They throw convention to the wayside, busting in with uptempo fire starters that kick up dust and turn it into a thunderous whirlwind of riffage."

***J. WAYLON***

Seattle rock artist Jess Waylon’s distinct sound captivates the listener. He has a unique
way of taking his life’s adversities and turning them into soul-strengthening songs that are
catchy, intriguing, and relatable. In the song Shadowland, he confidently sings “you blame me
and say it's nothing I’ll ever win, ah dah dah dah,” where he blatantly illustrates that he does not
care about what is being negatively said to him. This is a tale of letting go of toxicity, regardless
of how hard the challenge.
After temporarily living in his car due to falling on hard times and suffering from a heavy
depression, Jess Waylon began writing about his journey in reclaiming power, self-sufficiency,
and dissolving the idea that people-pleasing is a necessity. The songs just kept coming, and it is
now time to share this music, which he hopes will inspire others on their own difficult journeys.
Influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash, Nick Drake, Tom Petty, and his favorite, post-grunge early 2000's indie rock
music, Jess Waylon’s music has the cross-genre ability to be loved by those who listen to
classic rock and modern alternative. Hooky melodies with a raspy, at times almost strained
delivery, the emotions are palpable.
Jess Waylon’s live show is compelling as he is undeniably passionate about music and has the ability to devotedly tell stories through lyrics. In 2022 Jesse has played numerous local shows, released a single with music video "Shadowland" and has one studio album which was recorded with John Luzzi at Blastcap Studios in Bothell, WA (not yet released). Recently, Jesse teamed up with touring musicians including Kham Hamilton(guitar, bass) from False Hope Fades and has plans to record with producer Jonathan Plum at London Bridge Studios in November of 2022
