hort ‘n Lowe is a Nashville-based alternative rock band currently playing on Kenny Chesney's No Shoes Radio on Sirus XM. The founding members are comprised of keys and vocals by Laura Short, and guitar and vocals by Carson Lowe. The pair started writing together in June of 2018 for a simple wedding song which quickly turned into much more. Throughout the next six months, the two began to hone their craft as a band and showcase their sound through live performances in and around the greater Nashville area.

They went on to record, manufacture, and distribute a self-titled EP made available via physical merchandise at live shows. Nearing the end of 2019, they sold out of their EPs and took some time off from shows to work on writing and recording their first album. In February of 2020, they wrapped mixing and producing the record. Short ‘n Lowe’s first single, “Venom”, was released on April 3rd, 2020, followed by a second single, “Smile and the Tear” on April 17th. Their freshman album "Amidst the Madness" as well as a self-produced Live Stream Release Show debuted on May 15th, 2020. The succeeding single, "Till Tonight", was released on August 7th, 2020.

While playing as many shows and staying as safe as possible throughout 2020 and 2021, the group started work on a new record. After writing and getting used to performing with a full band, they decided to record this album live at home with Drums, Bass, Guitars, Keys, and Vocals tracked all at once and bleeding into one another. This lead to an explosion of creativity adding depth and weight to their overall sound with a driving forward momentum into where Short 'N Lowe is and will be.

The first Single off their second album, "Kin", was released August 27th, 2021 with the band's first-ever Music Video. Quick to give listeners more new music, they released "Where We Are" on September 24th and "Inspiration" on October 29th both with music videos.

THE Sophmore release, "Reflecting and Refracting" is OUT NOW with a cross-country tour from now 'till May and a Deluxe 15 Song album in 2022.
